Sunehri Masjid
Occupying a prominent position in Chandni Chowk, the 18th-century Sunehri Masjid was built in 1721 by the noble Roshan-ud-Daula. Known as the Golden Mosque, its architecture features three distinctive copper-gilded domes that crown the red sandstone structure. This late Mughal-era landmark offers a sense of historical permanence amidst the shifting energy of Old Delhi’s central thoroughfare.
